PoE Transfigured Gems Guide (2024)

In Path of Exile, there are three types of gems: Regular, Vaal, and Transfigured. You can buy regular gems, make Vaal gems, and find Transfigured ones. Although Transfigured gems aren't always the strongest, they're the most unique. Let's take a look at what makes PoE Transfigured Gems so special.

💎 What are Transfigured Gems in Path of Exile?

Transfigured Gems are a type of gem modification that you can perform on certain gems. The transfiguration process can be done at a Divine Font at the end of each Labyrinth encounter. You're allowed only a certain number of actions per encounter, after which you'll have to clear the Labyrinth again to be able to use the Divine Font anew.

The Divine Font also allows you to enhance your gems in other ways than just transfiguration. You can also exchange gems of the same type, enhance a certain gem's quality by x% amount, as well as sacrifice gems for treasure keys and items.

🤔 How to Unlock The Divine Font?

To unlock the Divine Font you have to beat Izaro in the Lord's Labyrinth, after which his quarters become available to you. That's where the Divine Font lies as well as his treasure chests (which are unlocked with the aforementioned treasure keys).

🌟 What Are The Best Transfigured Gems?

Although interesting, Transfigured Gems aren't always the best choice of gem, as they usually come with a gimmick or a major drawback over their regular or Vaal counterpart. There are however a few Transfigured Gems that are way better than the alternatives, these are:

●Ground Slam of Earthshaking: Has higher damage and a wider angle of attack than the regular version.

●Lacerate of Hemorrhaging:Does not require you to go into a specific stance, has a lower mana cost, faster attack speed, and does more bleeding damage.

●Elemental Hit of the Spectrum: It does an AoE attack with all three elemental damage types (fire, cold, and lightning).

●Frost Blades of Katabasis:Greater attack range and guaranteed cold DoT.

●Poisonous Concoction of Bouncing:Deals more damage and is more economical than the regular version.

●Frostblink of Wintry Blast:Doesn't have a cooldown timer, which makes it better for doing combos and traversing the map.

●Summon Holy Relic of Conviction: Summons an additional minion and triggers the spell's nova attack around the nearest enemy instead of around your minions.
