Why ask for a screenshot of a PayPal payment? ›

It is possible for someone to request a screenshot of a PayPal payment as proof of reimbursem*nt. For example, if you are reimbursing someone for a purchase they made on your behalf, they may ask for a screenshot of the payment as proof that you have transferred the funds to them.

To ensure your account security, the PayPal app does not allow screenshots of sensitive information. However, if there are no sensitive details involved, you can try logging in through your browser and using the Print Screen option on your keyboard to take a screenshot or use your phone to take a picture.

Update the expiration date or billing address associated with your credit or debit card. Your PayPal account is limited. Resolve a limitation placed on your account. You need to go through a security check.
